I'm something of a music enthusiast, although addict might be a more accurate description. I spend hours upon countless hours listening to music, collecting music, looking for new music, and deciphering it's many mysteries. So I suppose it comes as little shock I've made it my chosen area of study. I'm a guitarist, and I take my craft rather seriously, locked in my room playing for three hours in a row seriously. I'm currently studying music at college and I study classical guitar privately. Right now I'm gearing up for spring auditions at Universities on classical (Got Bouree in E by Bach, and Minuet Op 22. by Sor down). The life of the musician is what I've chosen, and as such I've solemnly accepted the fact that I shall remain utterly destitute for the remainder of my life.

I suppose I consider myself something of an artist; seeing as I draw, sketch and paint incessantly. I keep a sketchpad with me nearly everywhere; my bookshelf is littered with dozens of books on anatomy, perspective, technique and art history and I visit galleries whenever I get the chance.

I'm an avid reader and I often have my head stuck in a book, foregoing sleep to finish chapter. I've read something about nearly every topic making me a veritable walking encyclopedia of absolutely useless information (although one frequently called upon by friends). I actually work at a used bookstore; so I usually bring a few (ten or more) books home a week for dirt cheap. As a consequence my personal library is overflowing, and reaching the point of decadence/insanity. I also write a fair deal.

I'm a pretty quiet person, I enjoy my personal time and my privacy. I tend to spend many hours cloistered in my room, pursuing singular activity; whether it be: writing, reading, drawing, practising, composing, or conspiring to take down the government. That being said, I love being around people, a good drink and some conversation is always a wonderful thing. I have what many describe as a very odd, absurd and rather dark sense of humour. Schadenfreude amuses me to no end (granted as long as the subject is deserving of derision). I tend to err on the side pessimism. I've been known to rant and lecture on esoteric subjects for hours on end to anyone unfortunate enough to be within range. I'm an obsessive tea drinker, I'm probably drinking it as you read this. I have an unhealthy love of the rain and fog. I'm deathly afraid of telephones, and rarely use them except in occasions of dire need. I've been known to be an insufferable geek. I suffer intense and frequent, chronic migraines. I have nothing left to say.
